Baadshaho (2017)
Directed by a very accomplished director Milan Lutharia with the film like “Once upon a time in Mumbai” and “The Dirty Picture”, Baadshaho is based on the emergency state declared in India and it’s consequences.

First half starts with subtle note but begins to pick pace with every passing minute. Not so lavish on camera work, India of the 70s is depicted pretty well. The film goes on intermission on a high note. There are suspense that unveil on the second half, although not shocking they provide a nice twist in the tale towards the end. Except for the fight amidst white desert fog and a sudden end, the film thoroughly impresses.

Ajay Devgn has performed excellently on his loyal and fearless man. Ileana D’Cruz is elegant as the royalty and performs good. Emraan Hashmi as a cool casanova is equally good. Stand out is Sanjay Mishra with his witty and hilarious dialogues. Esha Gupta is passable and Vidyut Jamwal has done better roles earlier. Priyanshu Chatterji has a blink and miss role.

Raqshe Kamar is a soothing song and Piya More Haule Haule is sizzling hot song filmed on Sunny Leone and Emraan Hashmi.
A entertainer you may not remember for long but for sure you get entertained when you watch.
