The Plot

Dao's mother was a young, naive woman who happened to get pregnant by a man of different class from her. After the birth of the baby, Dao's mother decided to give the baby up. Dao was adopted, but she was forced to do all the chores at home. Wanting to escape such misery, and horrible lifestyle, Dao goes to live at a brothel. This is where she meets Pak. He decides to become her caretaker.
